The opportunity for profitable connections grows exponentially as we add more grads! ----------------------------------------- No class starts for the rest of the year ----------------------------------------- With the kick off of the two October class series, there will be no more classes started this year. A CNP grad/education/mixer is planned for January 6th. Start your year off by planning to attend from 5:30 - 7:30 at the Electrical Contractor's Banquet Facility. Bring a guest, too, so they can find out about the magic of CNP. ----------------------------------------- $100 Savings for 1st Quarter ----------------------------------------- While tuition is increasing beginning January 1, we are offering to hold the line at current rates for those of your friends and potential referral partners who will register before the end of November. We have four class offerings in the first three months of the year, so there should be a day or time for most. Class start dates are listed below: Feb 1st, Tussdays, 12 weeks, 7:30 AM - 9:40 AM (yep, it's that early morning one that people have been asking for) Feb 17th, Thursdays, 12 weeks, 10:30 AM to 1 PM (a little extra time is built in to take a networking lunch break) March 2nd, Wednesdays, 6 weeks, 4 PM - 8 PM (our only evening class for this quarter) March 25, Fridays, 12 weeks, 9 AM - 11:10 AM (a favorite time for many people in the past) --------------------------------------------------------- A Smile Added to Your Day --------------------------------------------------------- *Lynda Goodremont* sent this quote to this editor recently saying that is might be slightly irreverant, but that she liked it anyway. This week I met with the head of our Employability Unit and she works with students, preparing them for Internships and job placement. As I am starting curriculum developments we began to talk about Networking and how do we teach this and integrate it in to the students learning experience. I told her about CNP and she is very interested to learn more." Our Brit, Dianne, has shared with us in the past that networking is not something that happens in England. Just think--Because of CNP in little Toledo, Dianne may change the way a whole country does business! ------------------------------------------------------ Yea! For Sales ------------------------------------------------------ For *Zac Robison,* sales is not a natural aptitude, but it is one that he is determined to develop successfully. Zac gleefully reports that he has sold his first account. All of us who've been in sales for awhile knows what that means! ----------------------------------------------------- High Honors for Mark Urrutia ----------------------------------------------------- *Mark Urrutia** **/mUrrutia@AmFam.com/* , Agent for American Family Insurance, has earned the "Fall Life" Achievement Award for his achievement in life insurance production. His achievement will be recognized at the state meeting in Columbus on November 5. Additonally, Mark showed his style at the recent 20 Under 40 Awards Events. Of the 20 winners that evening, Mark was responsible for nominating 7 of the winners. Michael is helping to develop the launch, marketing plan, and copywriting, as well as other strategy consulting. The site will be live near the end of October and will have the full gallery of 250,000+ photos by the end of November. ----------------------------------------------------- Another Makes Three ----------------------------------------------------- Dawn and *Gary Thompson *have welcomed their third and final child born on October 13th. The little girl will compliment the family's two boys. Call Gary for the name of this little delight. ----------------------------------------------------- Skin Expert ----------------------------------------------------- Continuing to develop her expertise about skin cancer, *Louise Kahle* had an article on skin care and sun damage published in the summer edition of Spotlight on Women. She also had two speaking engagements on the subject, one at an Exchange Club meeting and another with the Toledo Women's Club. ----------------------------------------------------- Merger ----------------------------------------------------- *John McIntyre* announces the merger of his company, Multi County Appraisal with The William Fall Group. John has assumed the title of Senior Vice President of the new company. ------------------------------------------------------ Noticed ------------------------------------------------------ *Terri Lee*, CPA with Lublin and Sussman, has taken agreed to be nominated for election to the Board of the YWCA. Giving back to the community is a powerful way to develop those helpful relationships. ------------------------------------------------------ More About Sales ----------------------------------------------------- *Jennifer Alford *reports that she has officially made the move to the sales side of the business. She has worked on the staff/management segment of Financial Services since 1995 and now she is making the move to do what she loves best...working with her clients! ----------------------------------------------------- Another Success Story ----------------------------------------------------- *Steve Riter* revels in other's success. He shares that four weeks ago a client started with MPS Weight Loss & Wellness. Being overweight, having high blood pressure, and taking two pills a day for a diabetic condition meant this client was not in the best shape. But Steve shares that by eating the foods that were correct for that person's profile; they've been able to stop taking the diabetic meds (normal blood sugars have returned) and now the blood pressure meds have been halved due to LOW blood pressure! This person has also lost 19 pounds. Steve says proudly, "this is an example of how when the body gets well, it starts working right! ---------------------------------------------------- Justin Reaches High ---------------------------------------------------- *Justin Kearns* of New England Financial has won the prestigious Commodore Cup Award! This award is based on total commission and total number of clients in a certain time period. Justin was competing with all the New England representatives across the country! --------------------------------------------------- Arlene Gerig Recognized --------------------------------------------------- At the September Women's Council of Realtors monthly luncheon, *Arlene Gerig *was awarded WCR Realtor of the Year. As this is an award given by her peers, Arlene was honored to receive this acknowledgement She is the current president of the group and during her tenure, membership has rebounded for the group. --------------------------------------------------- New BNI Chapter --------------------------------------------------- *Cathy Skiver* tells that she helped to open a new BNI chapter in Bowling Green, Ohio. The chapter Kick-Off on Sept 28th was well attended and the chapter has been gowing in numbers everyday since then. The group meets at Stone Ridge Country Club for lunch which is different than the other BG Chapters that meet early in the morning.
