Continuous Never-ending Profit - the Newsletter of CNP Graduates and Students Providing a system to help our graduates to earn more, while saving time. Our goal is to STAMP out COLD CALLS! ------------------------------------------ Final CNP Lunch Tomorrow ------------------------------------------ Last year we didn't plan a lunch for December because we thought everyone would be too busy with holiday preparations. I guess we were wrong. The community pull is strong. Tomorrow, the final lunch of the year, we have 23 positive R.S.V.P.s. And while we're talking about it, those R.S.V.P.s sure do help the restaurant plan for enough settings and servers. If you haven't ever come to a lunch or haven't done so in awhile, think of it as a place to do some concentrated networking -- the development of relationships with people who know what's important. You can still tell us you're coming. It's at 11:30 at the Spaghetti Warehouse and the cost is $10. Our favorite server should be back after helping his sister through her transplant operation. ----------------------------------------- 167 Community Members ----------------------------------------- Can you believe it? With Nick's class of 13 at Davis College, we're approaching that 200 mark. It just seems like yesterday that we were closing in on the 100 mark Our average "fannies in seats" in each class this year was just under six students. One goal that we have for '05 is to increase that average to no lower than seven. ----------------------------------------- Mixer in January ----------------------------------------- The next mixer is January 6th at 5:30 at the Electrical Contractor's Banquet Hall at 727 Lime City Rd. We will be honoring three classes of grads. Members of our Board of Action have taken responsibility for this event and while you will see the grads being honored, you'll see some changes in the other parts of the program. Come to celebrate and also to bring those guests that you want to become CNPers! ----------------------------------------- Bowling Green ----------------------------------------- Debby is currently investigating training sites for a CNP class in Bowling Green. The date for the start of the class has not been finalized, but it will be in March or April based on securing a training room. CNPer *Ann Stott, CPA* has been very helpful in giving Debby ideas to investigate. ------------------------------------------ Can You Help? ------------------------------------------ Debby wants to talk with managers about the CNP training for their staff. Particularly, the categories that would be great are: Banking (Mortgage and Business Lending), Financial Services, Personal Lines Insurance (home and auto), Title Company, Auto Dealerships and Construction. As always, she wants a 13 or 14 on the shades of referral. For those who have not reviewed your book recently, that means a personal introduction after you've done some promotion of CNP with the manager. ------------------------------------------ Busy Bob ------------------------------------------ After many year of serving on various committees for the Sylvania Chamber of Commerce, *Bob Rank, BORB Enterprises *was elected to the new class of Directors. His term will begin in 2005 and he will join two other CNPers, *Dave Achen, New England Financial* and *Pat Mousseau*, *ReMax Central*, on this board. Bob also was seated on the Pet Plannedhood Board of Northwest Ohio and will serve as Assistant Treasurer for 2005. ------------------------------------------- Bugaj Serves ------------------------------------------- *Ron Bugaj, of Willson Builders*, reports that he was the tournament chairman of a Central Catholic High School golf event that netted $18,000 for the Heritage Scholarship Fund.. The September outing helps to raise money for students of color who have superior academic and citizenship qualities. -------------------------------------------- BG BNI Organizer -------------------------------------------- *Carlton "Holly" Hollister, Savage & Associates*, has helped to start a new BNI group in Bowling Green. With 12 people already committed, this group will begin the "new chapter" training with an official kick off for early February. Currently they are interviewing for the accountant, attorney and P & C insurance categories. -------------------------------------------- December Babies -------------------------------------------- *Darlene Robinson, CPA, William Vaughan Company*, reponded to the request for member news for her co-worker *Aaron Swiggum, CPA*. He and his wife had their first child December 15th. Lauren Sophia weighed in at 8 lbs 3 oz. and was 21 inches. We're sure Aaron is proud that he was able to produce this tax write-off very near the end of the year! -------------------------------------------- Goodremont Adds AD To Her Credentials -------------------------------------------- *Lynda Goodremont, Goodremont's,* has recently completed a three day training in California to become an Assistant Director for BNI. She looks forward to helping others see the benefit of this very valuable marketing tool. She feels very lucky to be part of an "awesome group of positive people." She will continue her work at Goodremont's giving part-time to this new endeavor. At a speaking opportunity this past week, I opened with this inspirational message, one that I think is universal. I hope you will think so too. *Don't wish it were easier; wish you were better. Don't wish for fewer problems; wish for more skills. Don't wish for less challenges; wish for more wisdon.* That's all for now. If you will be traveling this holiday season, do so safely. Debby
