The Certified Networker® training program is a 12 module training delivered in either six 4 hour sessions, or twelve 2 hour sessions. Our mission is to help CN graduates become part of an evolving community of profitable referral partners.

Module 1
Finding Your Starting Point

Understand your business and reasons why customers choose you or your business over your competitors. You will develop a clear message that is easy for others to repeat when they talk about you to your prospects.

Module 2
Identifying Prospects Using the VCP Method

Three phases pass through your relationships for you to play a role in building your business. You will begin identifying the current relationships you already have and may have forgotten.

Module 3
Developing Network Prospects -- The GAINS Profile

Develop relationships you have already identified as potential sources of referrals and learn to use the GAINS Profile. During this time you will learn how to move and also practice moving relationships to a stronger level.

Module 4
18 Tactics to Motivate Your Sources

Motivate your networking sources to establish and develop a business relationship. Knowledge gained will help you to realize that there are many ways to help your sources, and help does not always have to mean passing a referral.

Module 5
Activating Your Referral Network

Identify potential sources of referrals using a five-phase system. In this time, you will practice how to train a referral source as if they are the sales person whom you've just hired.

Module 6
Building and Evaluation Your Network's Effectiveness

Developing a system for tracking your referral source and quality of referrals. Never again will you want to accept just a name and phone number as a referral, and even better, you'll understand why!

Module 7
Working with Contact Spheres

Understand the concept of a hub firm, develop an understanding to mine a "vein" for referrals, and learn the six types of networking groups. While we will have talked about target market in Module one, after this session, you will totally understand the concept of target market, the power of selecting one and how it should fuel every relationship you develop and every organization you belong to from this point forward.

Module 8
Creating and Giving 10-Minute Presentations

Deliver your presentation with style and confidence; learn how to give an effective 10- to 12- minute presentation. Learn the only reason to give a 10 minute presentation and how the first two minutes can be the only part of your presentation you need to give.

Module 9
The 10 Commandments of Networking a Mixer

You will never find a business mixer to be a waste of time again when you learn how to effectively network at these events. Yep! And I promise that you will be surprised at some of the information that is delivered.

Module 10
Tools and Techniques for Enhancing Your Business Image

You will learn to develop marketing tools to enhance your image with your target market. Additionally, you will understand how marketing efforts can be used to further your relationships with key referral sources.

Module 11
Making Introductions That Last

Students will learn how to make introductions that make a lasting impression on their referral sources. They will begin to realize that opportunities to give verbal commercials are chances to continue the education process about their product or service.

Module 12
Asking for Referrals and Thanking Your Sources

This module will help the student to gain better referrals by gaining powerful, factual testimonials, and to also systematically track referrals that pass between the student and their referral partners. The title of this module infers that the students are asking for referral for themselves, when really it is talking about asking for referrals for their partners. The success of the partners means the success of the student too.
